The programme within our Venture Scout Group is as wide and as varied as the group wishes it to be. 

However, it usually falls into four areas: adventure, personal development, skills, service and social.  Some of the activities undertaken by our Venture Scout Group have included; mountaineering, canoeing, sailing, camping, abseiling, rock climbing, service to the community, personal development, bowling amongst other activities.

The highlight of the year of Venture Scouts in our Annual Expedition, this event sometimes takes place in another country.  Recent Expeditions have included; England, France, Scotland, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain and Switzerland as well as numerous expeditions in Ireland.

If you would like to join Venture Scouts you can email Stuart Garland or drop into Room One, The Basketball Hall, Mary Immaculate Church, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Tuesday nights from 8pm to 10pm.  Please check with our web site before you drop down to see if we will be there on that particular night.  Membership is open to males and females aged between 14½ and 19.
